The Merced County Fair was among more than 80 community businesses and organizations that participated in UC Merced's fifth Community Involvement Fair on Sept. 17. At the Merced County Fair's booth, fair staff members spread the word about the 2010 Fair moving to June – June 15-20 and handed out lots of freebies to UC students including T-shirts and visors. The day was an opportunity for community organizations and businesses to set up displays and materials promoting businesses, services, products, volunteer positions, local events and activities.
