"Saddle Up for Fun!" is winning Fair slogan

Horse ShowmanshipThe theme commodity for the 120th fair is horses. Karen Arnold may not know much about horses, but she knows a lot about words. That gift helped the language arts teacher come up with the winning slogan for the 2011 Merced County Fair.

Congratulations to second place winner Judy Douglas and to Joy Gort who took third place, from over 200 contest submissions. [View the full story]
