Recycle Old Electronics at the Fairgrounds
Saturday and Sunday, April 5-6 and April 12-13 free E-waste recycling: 11th Street parking lot, near the G Street entrance, open 6:30 a.m. to 2:30 p.m. A City of Merced annual Spring Cleanup site will also be at the same location.
APRIL: Get a “5-pack” general admission discount ticket package for $16 (that’s only $3.20 per ticket). The package valued at $25 will be sold only in April – Save $9!
MAY: The “5-pack” will be $18 – Save $7!
JUNE 1 thru 10 (day before the fair starts): The “5-pack” will be $20 – Save $5!
New Fair Exhibitor Handbooks Online
Now it’s easier than ever to enter! The 2014 Merced County Fair’s Exhibitor’s Handbook has been divided into two booklets – adult departments and junior exhibitors. Each book has been redesigned to be more user friendly – easier to read with fewer pages. Both versions of the handbook, including entry forms, are available on the Fair website.

Adopt-A-Garden at the Fairgrounds
Let your gardening skills be admired by more than 350,000 people year-round...
The Fair is launching a new “Adopt-A-Garden” program and invites individuals and groups to participate in beautifying the fairgrounds. The gardens will be inspected every three months, with prizes awarded for the most appealing and the best year-round garden. After one year, the first place garden will win $200, the second place garden will receive $150 and the third place winner gets $100. [Read more]
